Trapped Within My Own Walls: A Home Confinement Tale
The walls of my home used to feel like a refuge. Now they press in, a constant reminder of my confined existence. Days run into each other, marked only by the click of the clock and the gnawing emptiness in my chest. Every noise from outside is a cruel reminder of what I miss.
I wander through these familiar rooms, searching for some hint of light. The rays that once fell across my floor now seem cold, and the silence is oppressive.

Surviving on Lockdown
Life as we knew it has drastically shifted. The world outside our doors is a blur of its former self. We are now confined within the limits of our homes, forced to adapt to a new reality. The days blend, marked by the rhythm of online meetings, streaming media, and cooking. We long for the simple pleasures that were once granted for granted: a stroll in the park, a cup of tea with friends, or even just a talk without a screen between us.
This new world has brought challenges, but it has also exposed unexpected qualities within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more patient, more creative, and more grateful for the mundane things in life. As we navigate this new territory, we must stay hopeful that brighter days are near.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a harsh reality. Every day, you face restrictions that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so reachable, yet it's separated by just six feet.
Sometimes, the weight of those bars feels insurmountable. You crave freedom with every fiber of your being. The constant ticking of time serves as a constant echo that you're imprisoned.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a gleam of hope. A home arrest hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be free. That day might seem distant, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Chains of Liberty
The allure for freedom can be a powerful force. Yet, paradoxically, it can also lead to confinement. This manifests when the very notion with freedom becomes perverted, transforming into a tool for control and suppression.
True freedom demands not only the absence for external constraints but also the cultivation of internal resilience. When this inner foundation is lacking, even amidst a society that celebrates freedom, individuals can find themselves bound within the boundaries of their own minds.
Consequently, the true measure with freedom lies in our ability to transcend the obstacles that restrict our potential, both externally and internally.
